Auto-Source Volunteer Opportunities with VolunteerMatch

Countless volunteering opportunities are being added to Deed on a daily basis, thanks to our partnership and integration with VolunteerMatch. VolunteerMatch has connected millions of volunteers with nearly 200,000 organizations to create real impact — and every opportunity posted on VolunteerMatch can be shared with your teams, right on Deed. Below are some tips on how to ensure that your employees have ample opportunities to volunteer.

 

  • Auto-source volunteer events

    Auto-sourcing Volunteer Events is a great way to keep your employees engaged through the countless opportunities available to you through our partner, VolunteerMatch. Check out the short video tutorial below to learn more.

 

Auto-sourced opportunities will show up when employees click on the Company Name toggle on the employee facing site under “Volunteer”

  • Auto-Sourcing Events Step-By-Step

    • Log-in to your Deed Admin profile.
    • Go to Manage Deeds > Under Add Deeds, Select Browse Opportunities
    • Under “Partner”, select “Volunteer Match”
    • Select the project(s) most relevant to your mission by clicking ****“Add to (Company Name)”
    • Once complete go to Publish Status > Set to Published > Submit

    ☝ You cannot update the details for sourced volunteer projects beyond the categories and visibility, as those have been created by a partner nonprofit.
