Getting Access to a Deed Profile:

Government entities can join Deed by claiming their profile or, if needed, creating a new profile.

Claiming an Existing Profile:

  1. Go to our Claim Your Profile page.
  2. Search for your government entity by name.
  3. Enter your email address and complete the requested fields.
  4. Check your email for a link to set your password and log in to Deed.

By completing this process, you’ll be added as a user to your organization’s Deed account.

If you cannot find your organization:

Onboarding on the Deed platform:

Onboarding for government entities includes four steps:

  1. Organization Verification
    • Submit the following documentation:
      • 4076c letter for your city or county.
        • If you do not have this letter, request an official copy from your county or city office.
      • Letter of association (if your organization is a department of the legal entity tied to the 4076c letter).
        • This letter must show that your city or county recognizes your department or office and include your organization’s name.
  2. User Verification
    • One user must complete verification for your organization.
    • You will be asked to provide:
      • Your role at the organization
      • A bank statement, canceled check, or bank letter (dated within the last two years, including your organization’s name, tax ID, and full account number)
    • Our support team will review the documents within 2–3 business days.

  3. Affiliation
    • You may be prompted to request affiliation with one of Deed’s partner companies.
    • If the company you’re seeking is already listed, you may skip this step.

  4. Profile Information
    • Add final details about your organization, including:
      • Mission statement
      • Logo
      • Contact information
    • This information can be updated at any time from the Settings tab in Deed.
