Organizations outside of the United States Onboarding

Deed partners with PayPal’s Fundraising Platform and CAF America to onboard organizations outside the United States.

 

Registering with PayPal’s Fundraising Platform:

If your country is supported by PayPal, you can complete your onboarding directly with them.

How it works:

  1. Select your country from the list below to begin PayPal’s charity onboarding process.
  2. Provide your organization’s registration documentation and banking information.
  3. Once confirmed, PayPal will email you with a final enrollment step.
  4. Complete this step and wait 24–48 hours, then check Deed’s Claim Your Profile page to finish claiming your profile.

Registering with Deed: 

If your country is not supported by PayPal, Deed vets organizations internally. 

How it works:

Go to our Claim your Profile page and find your organization. Make sure to select your country. 

  1. If you are able to find your organization after searching, follow the steps below: 
    1. Click the "Claim organization" button. 

2. You will be asked to provide information such as your email and password so we can create a user account for you. Make sure to check your email for a verification email from Deed.

3. If your email verification is successful, you can proceed to the Deed platform. If your email is not verified  automatically you will be asked to provide a bank document showing your association with the organization.

 

2. If you are unable to find your organization after searching, follow the steps below: 

  1. Click "I can't find my organization" 
  2. You will be asked to share your organization's name, website and address. 

3. You will be asked to provide information such as your email and password so we can create a user account for you. Make sure to check your email for a verification email from Deed.

4. You will be asked to upload your tax/organization ID number. You will also be asked to upload a bank document. 

Your organization will then be reviewed within 3 business days. If any additional information is needed you will receive an email from the Deed team requesting more information

 

Setting up Disbursement 

After organization and user information is verified, your organization will be directed to attach disbursement information. This can be accessed by going to the Settings tab and then to "Payments" at any time.

 

 

Organizations can attach a Stripe account in the following countries: Singapore, Japan, New Zealand, Romania, Israel and Hong Kong. If your organization does not have an existing Stripe account you can make one here

 

Organizations can attach a PayPal Business account in the following countries: Switzerland, Israel and Hong Kong. If your organization does not have an existing PayPal account you can make one here
