Getting Access to a Deed Profile:
- Go to our Claim Your Profile page.
- Search for your school by NCES ID (recommended).
- Select your school and provide your email address.
- Check your email for a link to set your password and log in to the Deed platform.
By completing this process, you’ll be added as a user to your school’s Deed account.

Onboarding on the Deed platform:
Onboarding for NCES public schools has four steps:

User Verification
- One user must complete verification for your school.
- You’ll be directed to log into your PayPal Business account to confirm financial access.
- Ensure the account name matches your school’s name on Deed.
- Review typically takes 2–3 business days.

If your school cannot create a PayPal Business account:
Provide the following instead:
- Your role at the school
- A bank statement, canceled check, or bank letter (dated within the last two years, showing your school’s name, tax ID, and full account number)
- Our support team will review these documents within 2–3 business days.

Disbursement Set Up
- Deed partners with Network for Good to distribute funds to NCES public schools.
- No action is needed—your NCES ID is automatically used for donations.
- You can select Skip for this module.

Affiliation
- You may be prompted to request affiliation with Deed’s partner companies.
- If the company you’re seeking is already shown, you can skip this step.

- Add final details for your school’s profile, including:
- Mission statement
- Logo
- Contact information
- This information can be updated anytime under Settings in the Deed platform.
