📝 Donation Details

Once you find your nonprofit or fundraiser of choice, click “Donate” and follow the payment check out instructions.

Payment Options

You can use your Deed Credit balance, credit card, or PayPal account if applicable. Local payment options may also be available.

• When donating, there is a varying donation limit per donation depending on the processing partner.
  • For donations through our payment processor GlobalGiving, the minimum is $10 and the maximum is $5,000.
  • For donations through our payment processor PayPal Giving Fund (Including PayPal direct), the minimum is $5 and the maximum is $200,000.

After your donation is processed, you'll receive a confirmation to your email, and you can find your donation history in your Profile at any time. 

Recurring Donations

When donating directly to a nonprofit, you'll see the option to give once or give monthly. Recurring donations are available when you’re paying with a credit card.

• The recurring payment date will be determined by the date the recurring date was initiated. (e.g. a recurring payment initiated on the 15th, will be completed on the 15th of every subsequent month).

*This is only eligible for PayPal Giving Fund nonprofits, so if you don't see that option, that means they're not available through our payment processing partner PPGF. PPGF countries are United States, Canada, Ireland, UK, and Australia.

• You'll fill out the rest of your donation information as usual, and will receive a confirmation and receipt. Moving forward, you'll get a receipt each month when the donation is processed.
• You can manage your recurring deeds at any time in your Profile > My Donations > Recurring. There, you can see info about your recurring donation and also cancel it if needed.

☝️ Pro tip: if you leave your company, please cancel any outstanding recurring donations you have set up!

Matching Donations

Some companies have matching policies and will match donations to nonprofits or fundraisers. If a nonprofit or fundraiser is eligible for matching, you'll see that indicated on the donation page. If you have questions about your matching policy, please reach out to your Social Impact team.
