Presenting Deed’s New Notification Management Tool!
Notifications are now under your control! We’re so excited to offer company wide emails settings and customizations. Admins can toggle emails or emails categories on or off whenever needed, adding greater control over communications to employees.
Not to mention, 🥁🥁 company branded logos will now be at the top of all emails received by employees, creating stronger brand identity and cohesion. This is only the first of many customizations we will be offering in the future, so stay tuned.
How to access
- Access the new Notifications tab in Admin site by going to admin.joindeed.org
- Can toggle all emails individually or by category, except Required emails
- Required emails will always be sent due to compliance or essential account functions, and include:
- Complete account creation for imported users
- Deed account deletion request
- Reset password (all)
- New organizer created for nonprofit, company

Email categories include:
- Account
- Employee emails related to account activity or actions completed in the platform (e.g. Registration confirmation, Welcome email)
- Suggested
- Employee emails that are suggested for the best experience, and primarily include reminder emails (e.g. Donation credit reminder)
- Organizer Account
- Admin, Organizer emails related to account activity or actions completed in the platform (e.g. Admin approved your deed)
- Approval
- Admin emails related to approval requests (e.g. External donation match request)
Company admins will see all possible employee emails, even those not applicable to their feature settings (e.g. Payroll emails will show for companies that don’t have Payroll).
