PayPal Giving Fund Disbursement Timelines

PayPal Giving Fund (PPGF) is the receiving charity of record for any donation made through its programs. PayPal Giving Fund then attempts to make a grant to the charity you recommend when you make your donation. Pending distribution of grants, PayPal Giving Fund holds all donations in a secure bank account dedicated to donations.

Payout Timelines

Charities are paid monthly, either via PayPal (if the charity is enrolled directly with PPGF), or by check (if not directly enrolled). Payments are made 15-45 days after the date of donation. All donations made between the 16th of one month and the 15th of the next month are disbursed no later than the last business day of that month.  

For example:

• A donation made on March 28th will be disbursed on April 30 (the following month)
• A donation made on April 13th will be disbursed on April 30

Click the Track your donation link in your donation receipt email to see whether your donation has been granted to the charity you intended to benefit. You can also enter the Transaction ID from your donation receipt into the PPGF donation tracker.
