What is PayPal and how is PayPal connected to Deed?
PayPal Giving Fund (PPGF) helps Deed empower people to support their favorite nonprofits online. PPGF receives donations through Deed (as well as PayPal, eBay, and other platforms), then makes grants to donors' recommended nonprofits. Donations made through Deed will be disbursed to your organization’s bank account through PayPal.

What information will my organization need to provide to PayPal?
PayPal will request information about your organization and the person that is creating the account. Paypal will ask for information such as monthly sales, EIN number (if U.S based), bank statements, proof of charitable status and proof of your organization’s bank account. Additionally, PayPal will request information such as SSN, birthday and home address for the individual creating the account. All of this information is used to ensure that all donations are being processed and managed correctly.
-
How do I know that my profile with PayPal is complete?
Your organization will receive an email from PayPal sharing that your charity status has been confirmed. Once you receive this email, please check that you have completed the enrollment form to finalize your PPGF registration.
